:Good looking 1920s mahogany veneered twin pedestal desk. The cater cornered breakfront top is edged with piecrust moulding. Bracket feet. Original decorated brass swan neck handled (backplates of one replaced). Weathered maroon leather. All locks work; one key. The back is well polished so it can stand in a room. Dismantles into 3 easily movable parts. This desk was purchased from a Sussex farmhouse where it had given years of use: the drawer fronts have been given a hammering (not literally we hope) so edge moulding is missing / damaged. Overall it is in fair condition but unrestored (see pics). Size: 54 x 30 x 28.5" 1st impression: handsome generous size desk that has been well used.
